I truly cannot recommend Gianna enough! She went above and beyond as my doula and was there for me every step of the way. She constantly checked in on me, came to both of my hospital visits, and was even in the operating room with me during my C-section. I was shaking uncontrollably during surgery, and she kept me calm, distracted me, and made me feel safe throughout the entire experience.
Before birth, she did a thorough walkthrough with me and shared so much helpful knowledge about pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. She also had great connections at my hospital and helped make sure I felt supported and that my needs were being met.
What meant the most to me, though, was her postpartum support. After having a difficult postpartum experience with my previous birth, I really needed reassurance this time around. Gianna gave me a safe space to talk about my mental and physical health, provided referrals when needed, and constantly reminded me that the decisions I was making were okay and that things would get better.
She genuinely cared about me beyond just giving birth, and that meant everything. I’m so grateful I had her by my side and would recommend her to anyone and everyone.
