My family and I feel so incredibly lucky to have found Ashley. She took us on at the very last minute when we found out our original doula would be out of town during my due date. Ashley stepped in and went above and beyond for my family. She was always available by text or call and you can tell she truly cares and is passionate about her work. She asks thoughtful and meaningful questions about your birth preferences and is so knowledgeable in all things labor prep, birth, and baby.
I'll never forget running into her at the farmers market and joking that maybe this would be the big day, only to call her five minutes later to say my water had broke and to get ready. From the moment she stepped into my home, she was ready for anything and she worked smoothly with my midwife and her team. She brought the most thorough bag of tools to help get me through every contraction and was like a little guardian angel on my shoulder reminding me to relax my eyebrows and breathe. I didn't have a doula with my first baby and I so wish I did after working with Ashley. What a difference having her there made. She made me feel so confident and cared for both during and after the birth. She brought me dinner the night after my daughter was born and continued to check up on me over the next few days to make sure breastfeeding and recovery were going smoothly. She provided the kind of support I didn't even know I needed.
We are so grateful that she said yes to us on such short notice. She was beyond amazing, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula. She was an incredible part of our birth experience, and we will always be thankful that she was there with us.
