Working with Annaliese was truly one of the greatest blessings of my birth experience. From the very beginning, I could see how deeply passionate and knowledgeable she is about birth and how much she genuinely cares for both mothers and babies. Before labor, she spent time with my husband and me teaching us different positions, explaining how the body works and connects during labor, and helping us feel more prepared and confident for the birth we were praying and preparing for.
What I appreciated most was that she never made me feel like I had to birth a certain way. She listened to me, respected my wishes, and supported what I felt was best for myself and my baby. She was incredibly kind and encouraging while also being such a strong advocate for me when we were in the hospital. She helped communicate what I wanted, reminded me of my options, and continually looked for ways to help me feel more comfortable and at peace.
She was patient and gracious through the uncertainty of false labor and so flexible as things changed. When true labor finally began, she was there with the same calm, compassionate presence.
My birth was something I had prayed about deeply. I wanted to experience the strength and beauty of birth and, most importantly, to surrender the experience to the Lord and trust Him through it. She helped create an environment where I felt supported, safe, encouraged, and able to focus on what was happening rather than being overwhelmed by fear.
I am so incredibly thankful that God brought her into our birth story. Her knowledge, passion, compassion, flexibility, and genuine love for mothers are such beautiful gifts. I would wholeheartedly recommend Annaliese to any mom who wants someone who will not only support her physically and emotionally, but who will truly listen to her, honor her wishes, advocate for her, and walk alongside her through one of the most meaningful experiences of her life. ??
