Just WOW! I had the birth of my dreams as a first-time mom, and I truly owe so much of that experience to Melanie.
I labored for 36 hours at home with Melanie ALWAYS by my side. Had I not had her, I would’ve rushed to the hospital at the first sign of contractions, and I truly believe my birth story could have looked completely different.
When I say she was by my side, I mean literally! In the middle of the night, Melanie was lying beside me, helping relieve my pain through every contraction. With her guidance, position changes, encouragement, and constant reminders, I was able to rock through contraction after contraction. Every time I thought, “I can’t do this anymore,” she was right there reminding me, “Yes, you can.”
She also made sure to involve my partner throughout the entire process, showing him how to support me and making us both feel confident and prepared.
After 36 hours of laboring at home, we arrived at the hospital at 10 CM, READY TO PUSH! ?????? As a first-time mom, I still can’t believe it.
Hiring Melanie was hands down one of the BEST decisions we made. She believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself and helped me have the beautiful, empowering birth I had prayed for.
