My experience with Julie was everything I could have wished for and more! I decided to plan for a homebirth pretty late into my pregnancy and had very sychronistically met Julie in a coffee shop months before. When I reached out to Julie, everything began to click into place. Always vibrating on the frequency of love and joy, Julie was not only knowledgeable but so comforting and encouraging as she helped us prepare for our big day. We had taken an extensive birthing class prior to our home visits but Julie still went over the stages of birth with us, including as much or as little detail as we felt necessary which was great. For the big day, Julie would come over whenever I wanted, if I wanted her there for the earlier stages or later when things really started to pick up, and having that option was awesome. Julie is so attentive, gentle, and truly a healer. The moment she entered the birth portal, it was like my body knew we were in good hands and could enter into the next phase of labor. She was a grounding force and guided me through the tougher moments with thoughtful words and touch. Within the first few days after birth, she came over to check on us and I just remember how sweet it was to relive the details, in awe of our special night together just a few days prior. She was truly the perfect addition to our birthing team and we would be honored to have her as our doula for future births <3 Thank you Julie and we miss you!
