Luiza was our postpartum doula for a total of eight weeks, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience with her.
From our very first phone conversation, she immediately put so many of the worries my husband and I had at ease. We had a million questions as first-time parents, and by the end of that call, we both knew we had found our doula.
We were even more impressed when we met her in person for our prenatal visit. She is incredibly knowledgeable, but what stood out to us was how well she teaches. She walked us through newborn care, feeding, sleep, and so many things we hadn't even thought to ask about. We left feeling so much more prepared and confident for our son's arrival.
Over those weeks, she helped us establish a good feeding schedule, encouraged healthy sleep habits, helped us create a routine, and taught us so much about our baby along the way. She also helped us with all of the little things that no one really prepares you for — organizing our bottle washing area, bath-time tricks, setting up the nursery in a way that actually made sense, and finding routines that made our everyday life with a newborn so much easier. Her support with sleep shaping was especially helpful.
By the end of our time together, we genuinely did not want her to leave. Luiza became someone we trusted completely and someone we now hold very dear to our hearts.
