From the very beginning, she was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and reassuring. She made us feel heard and cared for throughout the entire prenatal period, always taking the time to answer our questions, ease our worries, and help us feel prepared for what was ahead. She answered our very random questions about everything - pregnancy, childbirth, what items to buy, etc. - and always in a timely and supportive manner. She gave facts instead of opinions, and was always very honest about if certain questions should go to our midwife/OB team.
For our birth, we ended up having a planned c-section for our breeched babe, but Lauren was supportive every step of the way. Offering to be at the hospital with us, keeping in contact through text, and visiting us at the hospital immediately post-birth.
Her postpartum support was just as incredible. She checked in on us, offered practical guidance, and provided reassurance during those early days when everything felt new. Having someone so knowledgeable, compassionate, and non-judgmental made such a difference as we adjusted to life with our baby.
Lauren went above and beyond in every way, and we will always be so grateful that she was part of such an important chapter in our lives.
