During our prenatal visit, Liza took the time to walk us through the labor and delivery process in detail and helped us create a birth plan. We felt so much more prepared and confident because of her guidance.
Our labor ended up being long and somewhat challenging — about 20 hours. My epidural stopped working twice, and while we were waiting for it to be adjusted, Liza stayed by my side and provided so much hands-on support to help me manage the pain. Her calm presence, encouragement, and experience made a huge difference during some of the hardest moments.
The pushing stage lasted another 3 hours. Our baby was not in the optimal position at first, and Liza continuously helped me adjust my positions and try different techniques to encourage the baby into a better position. She was incredibly patient and persistent throughout the process. Eventually, our baby moved into the optimal position, and we were able to have a successful vaginal birth. We truly believe Liza’s support made a meaningful difference.
After the birth, Liza came to check on me, helped with abdominal massage and postpartum recovery, and patiently answered so many of our questions about caring for our newborn. Her support gave us so much reassurance as new parents.
What we appreciated most about Liza was that she supported us not only physically, but also emotionally. She always made us feel heard, reassured, and cared for, while bringing so much professionalism and experience to every situation.
