I was lucky to receive Eliza's support after I gave birth to my first baby. I had a doula for my birth experience that didn't go as planned and I was feeling like I needed more support in my postpartum period. I was really feeling the need to integrate my birth experience into my body and to not have to leave my newborn baby to do so.
Eliza came to my home, brought nourishing treats and made me a herbal perineal spray after I was complaining about irritation, gave me nourishing body work sessions with my baby nursing beside me and she listened and helped me process my birth experience.
She then held a beautiful closing of the bones ceremony for me and I felt like I was receiving a giant hug of love from her and my chosen loved ones. I felt like my body, soul and mind were able to come home and feel whole during a time filled with sleep exhaustion and depletion from being a new mother.
I am so grateful for the nourishment and sacredness Eliza brought into my postpartum experience. I felt like I was able to recover and be a better new mother because of her support.
