Nicki was incredibly helpful to my birth and postpartum experience. She encouraged me to create a birth plan that focused on my agency and what was most comfortable for me and she helped my advocate for that plan in the hospital. She provided education throughout the entire journey which empowered me to make choices that aligned with ny goals. Her energy was positive and upbeat which provided both a nice distraction during labor and encouraged me to continue laboring my own way. She was an integral part of why I was able to give birth unmedicated; I knew she believed in me and it helped me trust myself. In postpartum, she was a safe space to be honest with about my feelings and experiences. She sent me resources and texted with me and her postpartum visits made me feel supported and seen. I would recommend Nicki to anymore wanting a kind, energetic and grounded doula for their birthing experience! We loved working with her.
