I absolutely loved having Melissa as my doula! As a first-time mom, I knew I wanted to have a natural birth, but I also knew I would need someone in my corner who could keep me grounded, confident, and mentally strong, and she was exactly that person.
She was the perfect cheerleader throughout the entire process. She knew when to encourage me, when to push me, and when to be very direct. She never sugarcoated anything or told me what I simply wanted to hear. She was honest, straightforward, and always made me feel like I could do it, even in the moments when I wasn't so sure myself.
Her support played such a huge role in helping me achieve the birth plan I had hoped for. I truly don't think I could have asked for a better balance of encouragement, honesty, confidence, and calm. She was exactly what I needed as a first-time mom, and I am so grateful I had her by my side.
