I cannot recommend Nicki enough! She was an incredible support throughout my pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum experience. From the beginning, she made me feel heard, informed, empowered, and completely cared for.
Nicki is incredibly knowledgeable about birth, labor, and the many interventions that can come up throughout the process. I always felt comfortable asking questions and trusted that she would provide honest, unbiased information so I could make informed decisions about my care.
During labor, she was very hands-on (which I loved!) and knew exactly when to encourage me, offer suggestions, or simply be by my side. Her support helped me feel confident and capable, and I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through the hardest moments without her.
What I appreciated most was how genuinely invested she was in me and my experience. She never pushed a particular approach or made me feel like I was doing anything wrong. She supported my choices and helped me feel empowered throughout the entire process.
Her support continued after my son was born. She provided wonderful lactation support and sent me so many helpful resources that I could reference during those late-night hours when I had questions or needed reassurance.
When the fires happened in our community, Nicki continued checking in on me. Going through such a traumatic experience with a newborn was incredibly difficult, and she made me feel validated, seen, and supported as a new mama during a time when I really needed it.
Looking back, I am so grateful Nicki was part of my birth experience. If I ever have another child, I will absolutely have her on my birthing team. If you’re considering hiring a doula, I wholeheartedly recommend Nicki. She is knowledgeable, compassionate, hands-on, and truly amazing at what she does!
