I will forever be grateful that I chose Natasha Blanchard to be my birth doula. As a first-time mom, I went into pregnancy and labor with so many questions and, honestly, quite a bit of fear. Trusting Natasha to be part of my birth experience turned out to be one of the best decisions I could have made.
From the very beginning, Natasha was incredibly supportive. She always responded to my texts, checked in on me outside of the prenatal visits, and was available 24/7 during those final two weeks before my due date. Having someone who knew so much about birth and could calmly guide both me and my husband made such a huge difference. She helped us understand what to expect, talked us through different aspects of labor and delivery, and made everything feel so much less overwhelming.
Natasha also provided me with a TENS unit, a pregnancy cub, and so many other helpful tools and resources that helped me prepare for labor. By the time labor began, I genuinely felt prepared and much less afraid than I had before meeting her. She took the time to go through my birth plan with both me and my husband, answered all of our questions, and made sure we felt informed and confident every step of the way.
My birth experience was incredibly positive and beautiful, and I truly believe Natasha’s support, along with my husband’s, played such an important role in making it such a wonderful experience. Her calm presence, knowledge, encouragement, and reassurance gave me confidence when I needed it most.
