Whitney was an essential and wonderful partner in our birth experience, we truly couldn't have done it without her! While initially planned to be a sibling doula to our toddler, she arrived to an unexpected home birth(!) and immediately became an incredible and supportive birth doula. She provided critical pain relieving pressure in labor and remained calm and empowering throughout the very much unplanned experience. And after I successfully gave birth and finally set off to the hospital, our toddler was totally unfazed by the ordeal and happy to stay with her thanks to Whitney's comforting and sweet presence. Whitney's postpartum care was exceptional as well—she played with and helped our toddler feel attended to, gave my arms a break from baby, and taught me new swaddling and soothing techniques I wish I'd known sooner.
