Choosing Jessica as our Doula was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy! I appreciated the time she spent with us leading up to birth, frequent reach outs to check how things were going, and especially the level of partner involvement she made sure to include.
When it came time for my birth experience, I was unexpectedly induced about a week before my due date. Jessica was there at the hospital with us that night, and came back for most of the day the next 3 days while they tried to progress my labor. She was instrumental in communicating with the hospital team, answered a steady flow of questions from me, and was able to be there when my husband needed a break (or went to get us food!). In the days after our baby was born she again checked in frequently and provided support as we navigated those early days.
Through all of that she was honest, authentic, and ready to support however was needed. We/I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
