I cannot say enough wonderful things about Joanna and Katie. I interviewed multiple doulas at the beginning of my pregnancy, and I immediately felt that Joanna and her team would be the perfect fit for me because of their experience and focus on VBACs.

After my first birth, I carried a lot of trauma with me, and having an unmedicated VBAC was incredibly important to me. Joanna was extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient, and supportive throughout my entire pregnancy. She answered every question I had, no matter what time of day, and helped me feel prepared both physically and mentally for the birth I wanted.

Katie was equally amazing. As someone who had experienced a VBAC herself, she was able to share her own experience in a way that gave me so much reassurance and confidence. Both Joanna and Katie helped me develop the preparation, tools, and mindset I needed to believe that my desired birth was possible.

I will never forget looking up after each contraction and seeing Katie taking care of every little detail—preparing essential oils, refilling my water, adding electrolytes, playing music, communicating with the nurses, and making sure I had the different tools and comfort measures I needed throughout labor. She was always one step ahead and completely focused on helping me have the birth experience I had worked so hard to prepare for.

Katie helped me through the most painful yet most beautiful experience of my life, and I truly don’t know if I could have done it without her.

I am forever grateful to Joanna and Katie for supporting me, believing in me, and helping me achieve the unmedicated VBAC I had hoped and prayed for. If you are considering a VBAC, I cannot recommend this team enough. They provided not only physical support, but also the knowledge, encouragement, and confidence I needed.
