Joefin was our postpartum doula for the first three months after our second baby was born, and I genuinely can’t say enough wonderful things about her. Having her support during those early months made such a difference for our whole family.
She has such a calm, warm, reassuring presence and seemed to intuitively know what I needed, whether that was help with the baby, a chance to rest, practical support around the house, or simply having someone there who understood how intense the postpartum period can be. I always felt completely comfortable leaving the baby with her so I could sleep, shower, or have a little time to myself, which was invaluable.
She was also absolutely wonderful with our older daughter. She made such an effort to connect with her and make her feel included and special during a huge transition for our family. Our daughter adored her, and it meant so much to have someone who understood that supporting us postpartum meant supporting our older child, too. She was even fantastic with our dog and fit so naturally into the rhythm of our home.
Joefin is kind, thoughtful, dependable, and incredibly caring. She never made things feel clinical or intrusive; it genuinely felt like having an extra pair of capable, loving hands in our home. She took care of all of us, not just the baby, and made those first few months feel so much more manageable.
