When labor began, Melissa guided us through each stage in a calm, intuitive way that allowed my husband and me to be fully present. I ended up having the birth I’d hoped for — not because everything went exactly as planned, but because I felt safe, informed, and cared for.
Her support continued the moment our son arrived. We faced several breastfeeding challenges with our borderline preemie, and Melissa’s knowledge and encouragement were instrumental in helping us build a strong foundation. She guided us through feeding positions, managing a strong letdown, and eventually transitioning away from a nipple shield. Six months later, I’m still breastfeeding, and I credit her deeply for that.
Her postpartum support meant just as much. Whether she was helping with laundry, holding the baby so I could shower, or simply being someone to talk to on a tough day, her presence brought peace and confidence during an overwhelming time.
Melissa supported us physically, emotionally, and mentally in ways that are hard to put into words. I cannot recommend her enough and would choose to work with her again in a heartbeat.
