As an oldest-daughter-type-A-planner, I knew I wanted a doula to help coach me through my first birth experience. Specifically, someone with in-depth knowledge of birth and the birth resources in the Portland area. What I didn’t know was that I also needed someone who could guide me through the significant mental and spiritual changes that pregnancy and birth bring and Jennah is exactly this person. As to be expected, our birth did NOT go as hoped but thanks to Jennah’s support and guidance, we felt safe and empowered each step of the way. Do yourself and your family a favor and hire Jennah as your doula! (PS she has a very solid local resource list that I’ve used to find a pediatrician, lactation consultant, etc… and each recommendation has been great!)
