Before our baby arrived, she came to our home for three classes to help us feel prepared for labor, delivery, and those first days with a newborn. Our labor ended up moving so quickly that we didn’t get to use much of what we practiced, but having that preparation and knowledge beforehand gave me so much peace of mind.
EmilieAn was there coaching me during the birth and even captured photos throughout the process, which was especially meaningful to my husband.
Her support after the baby arrived was just as valuable. She came to our home for three more visits to help us establish breastfeeding, answer our questions, and give us reassurance as we figured out life with a newborn. I really appreciated the time she took to talk through our birth experience and check in on our mental health.
