We feel incredibly lucky to have worked with Marianna during those first weeks with our newborn. As a first-time mom, especially with how hard postpartum can be (no one actually warns you enough about this!), I quickly realized that one of the most important things you need is someone you can completely trust. When you are sleep-deprived and exhausted, it is hard to truly go to sleep when a stranger is taking care of your baby overnight.
With Marianna, I felt an instant sense of trust and connection from our very first virtual call, and that feeling only grew once I saw how she interacted with and cared for our baby. She genuinely cared for him as if he were one of her own, and honestly, that was one of the most valuable things we could have asked for during this period. She is also an excellent communicator. Every morning, she shared how the night went, how the baby was doing, and anything she noticed about his needs, which helped me recognize patterns and things I might not have noticed on my own.
Marianna was also incredibly attentive and open-minded. Our baby was very refluxy, and I had a particular way I wanted to feed him to help reduce gas and discomfort. She was always receptive to my preferences and respected my instincts as his mom while bringing her own experience and expertise. Most importantly, she was incredibly loving and patient with the baby. Even when he was only a few weeks old, he would listen so attentively when she talked to him. Watching her interact with him taught me that even newborns are taking in so much, and that talking to them, engaging with them, and simply taking the time to care for them thoughtfully really matters. We truly have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Marianna.
If you are looking for someone to care for your precious baby overnight, I cannot recommend her enough.
