Aleecia is a wonderful person and an amazing doula. My sister wanted me to have a doula for my birth and she found Aleecia's profile for us. From there, communication was easy including an informational visit. Aleecia readily shares her joy and kindness from the moment you interact with her. I had some unexpected pregnancy complications that were thankfully treated and didn't impact my baby, but Aleecia was quick to adjust our schedule in case I delivered early. She provided resources and I could bounce ideas with her when I had questions or uncertainty. I don't think we could have handled the delivery without her, as I ended up having a complicated one. Her energy and coaching was incredible. I felt so supported by Aleecia on our birth and postpartum journey. She has so much experience and knowledge, and she finds a way to convey it truthfully and gently. I will never forget her visits in those early postpartum days when we were so overwhelmed and confused, and we were so grateful to have Aleecia there. She really feels like part of your family. She's also good at the practical stuff, and she coordinated with my postpartum doula and lactation consultant as well as provided paperwork for my flexible savings account. I would highly recommend working with Aleecia and we'll seek out her support if we have another child.
