Hiring Esmeralda as my doula for my third birth was the best decision I ever made. With 2 prior cesarean births I thought a third was my only option. As soon as I found out my provider supported a vback, I knew I wanted to have Esmeralda support me through a natural birth. Her services went above and beyond! She educated my husband and I on how labor would look which was wonderful because I had never even gone into labor before. She gave me exercises and helped educate me on how to prep my body for birth as well. We created a birth plan together and it included everything I wanted to have a successful birth. Esmeralda met us at the hospital once I was in labor and she stayed until my son was born. It was a workout but let me tell you Esmeralda knows what she is doing! My labor progressed well and I attribute it to everything she suggested I do. I had zero interventions and my redemptive birth was a success. I could not have done it without her by my side. She supported me the whole time, advocated for me and was so sweet and encouraging through it all. I will hire her again instantly if I am blessed with more babies.
