As a first time mom that has always been terrified of child birth I knew a Doula was a non-negotiable. Autumn was a last minute backfill since both my regular doulas somehow were busy. I met Autumn for the first time at the hospital and she made me feel very comfortable and assured me that she would be by my side throughout the entire birthing process. She constantly checked in with me to see how I was feeling. She helped me to breathe through the contractions and used accupressue to help me with the pain. She would also help me with positioning to get the baby position. I ultimately had to get a c section but Autumn was with me the entire time. I felt very at ease and everything went well. Autumn also did an in home follow up check with me afterwards. We talked through the birthing process, how things went, how I was feeling currently. She was always available to take questions. It felt great knowing I had an expert in my corner that was ready for anything and could put me at ease that everything was going as it should. I would highly recommend Autumn!
