Our daughter was unable to sleep in a crib before we began working with Ory and we were nervous that she would never be able to sleep at daycare. We started working with Ory because we had heard from others that her approach was gentle and I was not willing to "cry it out" or do the "pick up put down" method. Ory gave us a lot of good tools to help our daughter learn how to settle in her crib at daycare independently.
My favorite part about Ory is that you can tell she really loves children. She came over to our house twice (or was it three times?) and my daughter loved her right from the start! She was sweet with her.
Because of the tools Ory gave us, our daughter can now sleep independently at daycare. Ory continues to be a great resource for us when we have questions about our daughter's sleep regressions and changes in nighttime behavior. I would recommend working with Ory if you are against "cry it out" but are still looking to find ways for your child to independently connect sleep cycles and feel safe while sleeping.
