Recovering from a C-section during those first few weeks postpartum was tough, but she made it feel so much more manageable. She not only took exceptional care of our newborn but also made sure I was taken care of too—always reminding me to stay hydrated, making sure I had something to eat, and checking in on my recovery. Those little acts of care meant so much.
Her expertise as an IBCLC was invaluable in helping me navigate breastfeeding with confidence. More than anything, she became my 2 a.m. companion. She somehow knew exactly when to offer reassurance, when to step in, and when to keep the conversations lighthearted and funny, helping us stay sane through the sleep deprivation. She always went the extra mile. We also had support from other doulas, and honestly, no one came close.
Looking back, hiring her was one of the best decisions we made. Our only regret is not finding her when our older daughter was born. We couldn't recommend her more highly.
