We liked working with Jean so much we decided to use her support again for our second child’s birth. She is a good listener, supportive, and caring. She helped me talk through some harder decisions leading up to the birth, and helped me make sure I was being true to myself and my goals. We had a very fast and intense labor, unmedicated like I wanted, and I don’t think I could have done it without Jean knowing exactly where to do counter pressure on my back. She even gave me an amazing foot massage afterward, just because. It was helpful to have a debrief of the experience during our postpartum visit as well, and to hear Jean's support again while I was recovering and adjusting to our new family life.
