I cannot recommend Rebecca highly enough. She has supported me for all three of my births—two home births and one hospital birth—I can't imagine those experiences without her. When I got pregnant with my second child, I told my family and then Rebecca—having her by my side for the birth was at the top of my priority list.
Her expertise in comfort measures is unmatched. She always seemed to know exactly what my body needed, whether it was a position change, counter pressure, breathing techniques or words of encouragement. She seamlessly adapts to every birth setting. She was also incredibly supportive of my husband. She gave him the confidence and tools to be fully involved, making him feel like an active participant rather than a bystander.
Rebecca doesn't just show up on the day you give birth, she shows up for the entire journey. When I was referred to her by a friend they said, “She’s more like a life doula, not just a birth doula.” I couldn’t have said it better. From prenatal visits through postpartum support, she takes the time to get to know you, answer every question, ease every fear, and help you prepare mentally, emotionally, and physically for birth. After your baby arrives, she continues to check in and make sure you feel cared for during those early days and beyond.
She also leads incredible parenting groups and a variety of yoga classes, both in person and over Zoom. Her prenatal yoga classes were invaluable, as was her Mommy & Me group. She also leads groups for fathers and partners. She is a healer in every sense of the word.
Rebecca is knowledgeable, compassionate, and deeply gifted at what she does. Knowing her is a gift I will carry with me forever. Having her by my side for all three of my births was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I will be forever grateful for the love, wisdom, strength, and unwavering support she gave my family.
