From start to finish, working with Laura as my doula was a phenomenal experience. She communicated so well and was always there for me whenever I had questions or concerns throughout my pregnancy and postpartum period. I always knew I could count on her to be honest, reliable, supportive, and even share a few laughs when I needed them.
Laura is incredibly generous, caring, and compassionate. She has such a calming demeanor and a natural, nurturing presence that immediately puts you at ease. I never felt like a burden or like I was being rushed, which can sometimes happen in a hospital setting. Laura made me feel truly heard, supported, and cared for throughout the entire experience.
During labor, I was having a hard time getting comfortable, and Laura helped me find different positions that allowed me to rest more comfortably between contractions. At one point, I also wasn't progressing the way I needed to, and Laura guided me through an exercise that helped encourage my baby to move down to a lower station. Her knowledge, calmness, and hands-on support made such a difference when I needed it most.
Her birth preparation class was also included with her doula services, and I highly recommend participating in it! It was incredibly helpful in preparing us for birth and made me feel more informed and confident going into the experience.
My husband and I both agree that hiring Laura was one of the best decisions we made and was crucial to having such a positive birth experience. I’m so grateful to have had her by my side and would absolutely hire her again in the future. If you’re looking for a doula who is knowledgeable, dependable, nurturing, and genuinely invested in your experience, I can’t recommend Laura enough!
