Christina was truly a God-send to us. I cannot imagine my birth experience without her. Because of Christina, I was able to get through every contraction one at a time without ever asking for an epidural. She helped me move through the contractions and was so skilled at this process!! My husband was so sweet and was always willing to try his best, but he couldn’t help with the movement the same way that Christina was able to. I believe that having her help on the movement was one of the main things that got me through a natural labor. It helped me tell myself, “I can get through this” every time one would start, because I knew I had her help, advice, and support.
She also helped me so much mentally, and since so much of birth really is a mental thing, having her there to remind me to breathe a certain way and to relax between contractions (since this was the best way to save my energy for when I would need it most) was immensely helpful!!
I could go on and on about her because I truly can’t recommend Christina enough. She is not only a super cool and awesome person to know and have in your life, but she is also the best doula out there! She genuinely cares so much about you as the mama and your family as a whole. Thank you, Christina, for helping my birth experience to be everything I prayed it would be. We are so grateful for you and what you do!!
