Juliana was an invaluable part of my birth team. She happened to be with me when my water broke 2.5 weeks early. I was scared, but Juliana coached me and my husband through every step of labor. We ended up having a very positive experience and it was entirely due to Juliana. During her postpartum visits she taught us so much. We were exhausted and overwhelmed, but she helped us breath and taught us to care for our baby physically and emotionally. She is incredibly knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and deeply caring. Juliana's calm and supportive guidance helped us feel more capable during the first chaotic weeks of parenthood. It was also helpful that she takes Kaiser insurance and has lots of experience working with the Kaiser hospital. If we have a second, we will work with Juliana again in a heartbeat.
