After a very traumatic first birth, I was hoping for a completely different experience this time around. Jenica was exactly the kind of support I needed. She was incredibly encouraging, knowledgeable, calming, and genuinely compassionate from pregnancy through delivery. She made me feel heard, respected, and empowered every step of the way.
One of the moments I’ll never forget happened when my husband had stepped out briefly to grab food. Things progressed much faster than anyone expected, and Jenica unexpectedly ended up helping catch my baby. Looking back, it’s such an incredible memory and a testament to how calm, capable, and present she was when it mattered most. I honestly can’t imagine having gone through that birth without her by my side.
Jenica didn’t just change my birth experience—she changed the direction of my life. The care, confidence, and unwavering support she provided inspired me to become a doula myself. I wanted to be able to give other families the same sense of empowerment and comfort that she gave me. She is an amazing doula through and through!
