Shannon did an amazing job as our birth and postpartum doula. I went into labor 1.5 weeks early (was not expecting this as a FTM) and my husband and I both had a very positive and supported birth experience despite feeling slightly unprepared for our little girl's early arrival. I pushed for 4 hours and don't think I would have made it through without her! Upon being discharged from the hospital Shannon was with us for our first 3 nights at home and following that she was with us 2-3 nights a week for several weeks. I can't express enough how helpful she was by not only taking excellent care of our little girl, but also supporting us as first time parents and building our confidence.
