I don’t even know how to put into words what Rebecca meant to me during one of the most powerful and beautiful times of my life. She made me feel safe and loved during a very vulnerable time. And that feeling never wavered, from fist meeting all the way through birth and after. I will always remember her bringing me some eggs and toast- just what I wanted. I was naked in bed, blissed out, eating my breakfast with my new baby beside me and she was just like an angel in the room.
Rebecca is deeply kind and professional. She connected me with my midwife, and that single introduction changed the entire trajectory of my birth experience. I truly believe things unfolded the way they did in large part because of her.
And then there are the photos. Rebecca captured moments during my labor and birth that I never could have seen with my own eyes. Those images are some (most) of the most treasured things I possess. I look at them and it bring me back to one of the greatest moments of my life and I will never forget it because of her.
