I had a very positive birth experience with Britney by my side. First of all, she had home visits before and after the birth and taught me what to do when in labor at home, what positions to be in to feel better etc.. It's always great to have those lessons 1:1 face to face and in my home so we know exactly what to do. When I was in labor, I talked to her constantly and she was very responsive to my calls midnight. She guided me through making a decision to let go of elective induction and just wait for the baby to be ready. We ended up waiting for one more week. I was very worried about severe tears and she helped with me changing positions, pushing cadence, and talking with medical teams about my concerns so they do everything they can to help. I also talked about me trying to reduce medical interventions as much as possible. My birth story is very close to a natural birth other than we've used epidural.
Overall I recommend Britney because she is super knowledgeable, easygoing, very positive and reassuring! She brings good vibes to the birthing room.
