It was really challenging for me to bring someone into our home that I didn't know, especially during such a vulnerable time. I had a challenging birth and recovery, and I was so not myself—more than I ever thought I would be. Kate came into our space not knowing our home or who we were, and somehow she just magically worked her way into supporting us in one of the most nurturing ways.
She listened to me with such a big heart, helped me reconnect to my own intuition, nourished me with the most amazing food, and supported my husband in his journey as a new dad. She met each of us exactly where we were with so much compassion, warmth, and care.
This was by far one of the most challenging seasons of my life, and having Kate by my side was such a blessing. She created a space where I felt seen, supported, and safe enough to heal and slowly find myself again.
Kate is a rare breed. She has everything it takes—and so much more—to fill the shoes of one of the most important support people in a new mom's life while she's recovering from birth. Her intuition, presence, and ability to care so deeply are truly gifts. I will always be grateful that she was part of our postpartum journey.
