As a first time mom, even thinking about labor was incredibly intimidating. I knew I needed a doula experienced in all types of births, and Chris exceeded every one of my expectations!!! She is professional, personable, knowledgeable, and instantly felt like part of our family. When looking into doulas my husband was admittedly skeptical of their role and in what ways they could be helpful, but now he is the one raving about Chris and telling everyone about the magic of doulas and that she will without a doubt be at any future births we may have!! She helped me (and my husband) through an unexpected induction with pitocin and my water broken, and I believe she is the sole reason I was able to have the unmedicated birth I planned for and really wanted despite these and other challenges that arose. I will forever be grateful for Chris and her impact on the most vulnerable, beautiful, challenging day of my life!!!!
