Nubia was recommended to me by a friend and I am so lucky to have had her supporting me as a first time mom.
She has excellent communication and made every step of the process easy to understand and ensured we never felt overwhelmed. I felt so supported and was glad to have someone truly educate me on the various options, what to expect, and how to prepare myself. As a first time mom, I can't imagine having to rely solely on the limited information you receive during short visits with your OBGYN. I'm so glad we decided on a Doula, and particularly Nubia.
I also had some complications toward the end of my pregnancy and a very difficult labor. Nubia served as a trusted advisor during those moments, for both me and my husband. While she left every decision up to us, she was available to discuss options and was supportive no matter what our decision ended up being.
She is also incredibly kind and warm. I enjoyed getting to know her, which is important as someone who will be intimately involved in one of the most important moments of your life.
I certainly plan to use Nubia for any future pregnancies.
