We were fortunate enough to have her as our doula for the birth of both of our children, and this time, for our home birth. While our first birth was in a hospital, this experience was completely different, and without her onboard it wouldn't have happened at home. Her ability to help me stay comfortable, confident, and grounded throughout labor made all the difference. She has an incredible combination of deep knowledge, calmness, and intuition. No matter what was happening, she remained steady under pressure and always knew exactly when to step in with guidance and support, and just as importantly, when to quietly step back and give my better half and me a moment together. She's an exceptional professional who clearly attracts and works alongside other outstanding people. Having her as part of our birth team gave us complete confidence that we were in the best possible hands. We truly can't imagine going through this experience without her and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a doula. Lastly, she unfortunately hit a deer on the way to our house at 4am, and of course she didn't whisper a word about it until we were eating breakfast pastries hours later together well after the birth of our son.
