I had a great experience with Jaymie as my doula for the birth of my first child. I was looking for someone to support my partner and I so we could remain emotionally and physically present during labor and Jaymie more than met those expectations. She was especially good at listening closely to our priorities in a supportive and non judgmental way. I planned for an unmedicated birth, and don’t think I could have achieved this without Jaymie’s guidance and presence, although it was clear she would support us no matter what kind of birth I wanted or had. My labor was more difficult than anticipated and my baby had a number of unexpected complications immediately upon delivery. Jaymie was incredibly generous with her time and attentive care, and stayed with me as long as I needed while my partner left to be with our baby in the nicu. She worked seamlessly with my partner, midwives and nurses throughout the whole labor and delivery, and was available and supportive for me in postpartum recovery, too. I would highly recommend Jaymie as a birth doula!!
