Testimonial for Ashley Korth, PCD (DONA)
This is a long overdue post for Ashley and her overnight support earlier in 2026. We absolutely recommend her. She is sweet and kind, but also has a high level of professionalism throughout her time with you.
Ashley helped us with our second baby, but it was our first time seeking overnight support. We relied on Carrot benefits, and Ashley was familiar with the nuances that Carrot demands. We are so grateful to have had Ashley’s support during those early weeks.
Overnight support + guidance: Her goal was to ensure that both parents got the most sleep possible. I nursed and so of course had to wake several times a night, but since we also have a toddler, we made sure that my husband got good sleep otherwise. Once I started incorporating a pump session, we worked together on a plan so that I could maximize the amount of sleep I got that way. It’s clear that she quickly becomes attuned to our baby’s quirks (e.g., when they’re just fussing vs. hungry, what kind of soothing they prefer).
Bottle feeding: She provided very helpful guidance to support paced bottle feeding our otherwise exclusively nursed baby, and helped us implement the same techniques on the weekend when we didn’t have Ashley’s support overnight.
Household admin: Ashley would arrive and quickly self-identify tasks that helped ease our family’s load. For example, any dishes or laundry that needed to be finished.
Food: Her bone broth hot chocolate is delicious and nourishing!!! I also loved the oatmeal lactation bites she made. Such a great snack for those early nursing days.
Comforting presence: Ashley was such a great companion for those frequent nursing sessions. Sometimes we’d chat quietly, sometimes we sat in comfortable silence. It was never awkward :)
