We cannot recommend Ashley highly enough! Choosing her as our doula was one of the best decisions we made, and we are so incredibly grateful for her support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
From the moment we met her, we felt an immediate connection. Ashley has such a warm, calming presence, and we especially appreciated how she supported both me and my husband throughout the entire process (it was really important to us that he felt as included and part of the process as I did and from the first meeting Ashley made sure that was the case).
Ashley has an incredible wealth of knowledge. We took her birthing course too and this was an excellent way to feel better prepared for the actual birth. She also introduced us to amazing resources within the Portland birth community, including our wonderful lactation consultant.
During labor we felt confident and prepared thanks to Ashley's guidance and childbirth classes. She was absolutely phenomenal at the hospital. Her calm presence and expertise helped us stay focused and work toward the birth experience we had hoped for (and we had such a positive birthing experience).
Even after our baby arrived, Ashley continued to check in and support us postpartum. We are endlessly thankful for everything she has done for our family and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula. We feel so lucky to have had her by our side.
