I first reached out to Sheé in late 2023 while pregnant with my second child. She could not accept me because another client was due very close to my date, but she still spent nearly an hour answering my questions, offering guidance, and recommending other doulas. I had not paid her anything, yet she later checked in after my daughter was born to see how the birth went. That interaction told me everything I needed to know about the kind of person and doula she is.
When I unexpectedly became pregnant with my third child, I contacted Sheé immediately. From early pregnancy through six weeks postpartum, she provided education, nutrition guidance, exercises, preparation, and consistent support. She was always available, checked in often, and gave thoughtful recommendations without ever being pushy.
Sheé also helped me realize I could be a candidate for home birth. I had assumed my history ruled it out, but she explained what truly mattered and encouraged me to explore the option. Because of her guidance, we were able to welcome our last baby at home, which was incredibly meaningful to our family.
I also went through 12 exhausting days of prelabor, with contractions starting and stopping. Sheé checked on me every day and helped me through the physical and emotional strain. When my water broke shortly after 3am, she came immediately. My labor progressed very quickly, and she was attentive as I went through my most difficult labor. She helped wherever she was needed, worked great alongside the midwifery team and even helped with my older children. She stayed well into the morning until I no longer needed her.
Sheé is an exceptional communicator, educator, and doula. She gave me a completely new respect for the work doulas do. We absolutely loved her. She is not only an incredible doula, but a genuinely wonderful human being. Any family would be incredibly fortunate to have her.
