Terri is an incredible doula. I have had 3 wonderful birth experiences with her and I can't imagine having a baby without Terri there! She has a calm, encouraging, consistent presence and is always pointing back to God's plan for me, my babies and their birth story.
With each birth, we met to discuss goals for the delivery to create a birth plan. She is extremely knowledgable from her years of experience and we were able to talk through a variety of scenarios ranging from epidurals, breech positioning, forceps delivery and c-section.
During labor, she is steady and encouraging through each stage (which is especially helpful when pursuing an unmedicated labor or facing unexpected scenarios in labor) She helped both my husband and me with different techniques to progress and stay focused.
In my most recent birth, I faced some tough medical decisions in my pregnancy/labor and Terri was an absolute godsend in helping us walk through the decision making process. We felt supported and informed through each step and confident in the decisions we needed to make. My nurses even made multiple comments about how impressed they were with Terri and how incredible she was to have as part of the birth team.
Terri is a wonderful doula and friend and I couldn't imagine giving birth without her in my corner!
