To add to the stress, my mom came to support us but only speaks Spanish. Since we struggle with confrontation and setting boundaries, we needed someone to advocate for us, speak English with the medical staff, and Spanish with my mom.

Even the hospital nurses loved how she transformed our room with starry-sky lights, essential oils, music, and her expert guidance through positions to help my baby descend. Crucially, she was an amazing support for my mom, keeping her calm by explaining everything happening while my husband and I were too overwhelmed or in pain to translate.
