We cannot speak highly enough of Midwest Doulas! Justine and her team are supportive in all the right ways and have developed a comprehensive program that supports new parents. Justine collaborates with other birth educators to provide classes on birth, CPR, and lactation which we highly recommend for first-time parents. We are always amazed at how fast Justine, Ale, and the whole team are to respond to any text messages or phone calls. When they can’t provide the expertise, they are connected to someone who can. The pre-birth support is incredible.
But the very best part of Justine’s care is the way she supported me during birth. She walked into the room and instantly began to advocate for me with nurses and hospital staff. She asked about medication options while waiting for the epidural, supported the nurses, and guided my partner. She talked me through the steps for birth and then led my positioning for pushing while encouraging me the whole time. I do not know how I would have done it without her.
