It was such a blessing to my husband and I to have Amber walk with us through the pregnancy journey but of course during the big moment of active labor!!! Even with this being my 3rd baby, each pregnancy and labor is so different and I had so many questions for her that came up along the way. I would text her/call her and she was quick to respond in whatever it was. Whether it was me needing some encouragement or having a question where she was able to respond with her educational expertise. I felt prepared and most importantly excited to take on labor and have a natural birth! When I did finally go into labor, she was quick to be by my side at home for in person support.....timing my contractions, making sure I was drinking water, having the energy and snacks I might want, essential oils if I was nauseous, and came along side my husband for hands on comfort and relief! At the hospital we had a difficult run in with a nurse in Triage, where really my rights as a patient were being infringed upon, and Amber stood firm to be my advocate and voice as I was in active transition and just wanted to be placed in a room. Amber is down to earth, caring, kind, will be a cheerleader and encourager by your side. Speaking life and truth over you even in the hard moments. I also loved how Amber would pray over my pregnancy, and continued to pray over me as I was in active labor. It was such a comfort to my Spirit! She will take care of you in the special yet vulnerable time of bringing a new life into the world and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for doula services.
