Jennifer was our postpartum doula for the first nine weeks after the birth of our son, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. She joined us on our first night home from the hospital, and from the moment she arrived, it was clear how experienced and compassionate she was with newborns. Jennifer was an incredible support during those early weeks, helping us get much-needed rest while giving us the confidence to navigate life as first-time parents. Beyond caring for our son, she taught us so much—how to establish a routine, understand wake windows, recognize the reasons behind his fussiness, and encourage healthy self-soothing habits. Around six weeks, she introduced us to gentle sleep training. We were skeptical when she told us our son could soon sleep through the night, but she was absolutely right. By eight weeks, he was consistently sleeping from around 10–11 p.m. until 6–7 a.m., which made an enormous difference for our family. She also helped us understand the difference between hunger and gas, and showed us how small changes to our routines could improve his sleep.
The knowledge Jennifer shared has continued to benefit us long after her visits ended. Our son is now 12 weeks old and thriving, and we still use the techniques she taught us every day. She made the transition into parenthood feel far less overwhelming and gave us the confidence to enjoy this special season.
Jennifer is also a genuinely kind and caring person. We feel like we gained a friend, not just a doula. Even after our time together ended, she continued checking in on us and has always been available to answer our questions. We are incredibly grateful for her support and wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for an exceptional post partum doula.
