This was our first time working with Michele and districtdoulas and we had an absolutely amazing experience. All three doulas were amazing and responsive during the pregnancy to answer questions and give advice. Michele attended the birth and was such a great help both physically and emotionally during the experience. She made me feel comfortable and safe and helped me have the birth experience I was really striving for. She was very knowledgeable about how to help me manage my pain without meds and helped with counter pressure and affirmations to help keep me in the right mindset. Without her I would have felt a lot more panic and I am happy she was able to help me cope. Will definitely be reaching out to her again if we have more children.
