I hired Cheryl as my postpartum doula for my second baby. I'm so glad I did! Every visit with her I felt the perfect amount of support and space. She'd truly listen, offer support with baby and/or nursing, and then confidently whisk my baby to sleep and handle the night while I could get true rest.
I reached out to her quite last minute (around 38 weeks) and she was able to squeeze me in. Before giving birth my baby had gotten out of position and I emailed her with my concerns. My goal was a vaginal unmedicated birth at a birthing center and if baby remained out of position I'd be at risk of needing a c-section. She was so kind to be a listening ear and offer advice on what to do for myself and how to prepare for birth and "negotiating" with my providers if needed. She even offered to clear her schedule to come be my birth doula incase I felt like I needed extra advocacy at the hospital.
